Erik Smitt

In addition to his CG work, he is a painter, photographer, and live action cinematographer who combines elements from each discipline into his work at Pixar. He has always held an interest in combining visual storytelling with technical innovation to maximize the audience experience. Erik has helped develop many projects inside of the studio including “Wall-E”, “Finding Nemo”, “The Incredibles”, and most recently he was the Director of Photography on Pixar’s short film “Piper”. He is currently the DoP on the upcoming “Incredibles 2”.
