Cities or digital film sets are beautiful and an essential part of movie blockbusters like “Blade Runner 2049”, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”, “Incredibles 2”, etc.

But even small cities that are comprised of several thousand buildings, streets, street furniture, bridges, and trees can easily lead in a very time consuming and tedious production task. In this workshop we will present how Palladio, the new CityEngine plugin for Houdini, can be integrated into pre- and post-production pipelines for the efficient design and streamlined modeling of procedural worlds for movies, tv, and games.
