Melanie Beisswenger has animated almost all around the world and in different animation styles and formats, occasionally also directing her own short form projects.

Her character animation credits include the Academy Award winning feature film “Happy Feet” and its sequel “Happy Feet 2”, the TV launch commercial for the BioShock game, as well as work on “Iron Man 3”. German productions Melanie worked on were the animated feature film “The 7th Dwarf” and the live action feature films “Saphirblau” and “Smaragdgrün” where she was the Lead Animator responsible for the digital 3D character.

Melanie has previously taught animation at NTU in Singapore, Hochschule Mainz, HdM Stuttgart and at The Animation Workshop in Denmark, now she is a professor at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences.
